“We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.”
One could hardly the imagine the job of a parent when they have to put a pet down, let alone consoling your child when a pet dies.
This father should get more than what he was given, then again it’s Wisconsin. Social services, in a subsequent divorce, gave two little girls to this criminal, but they don’t give ANIMALS back to their abuser….now do they??!!
CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – The Chippewa County man who shot and killed six family pets in front of children has been ordered to spend about 9 months in jail and perform community service for animals.
Thirty-four-year-old Raymond Knez (kuh-NEZ’) pleaded no contest to causing mental harm to a child for shooting four cats and two dogs last January. He was sentenced Tuesday.
Court records say that after a night of drinking, the rural Boyd father got his gun and started shooting at pets in the house.
Authorities say the children watched as the pets were killed, then one of the children was told to clean up the mess.
Knez’s girlfriend, 30-year-old Chrystalyn Adcock, was in the house at the time of the shootings. She’s been charged with one felony count of mental harm to a child.
